Electrical inspection and testing

We carry out fixed electrical installation inspection and testing routines which comply to current 17th edition IEE Wiring Regulation BS76712008.Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

Following the testing, inspection and verification of the entire electrical wiring of a building. We carry out any required electrical repairs in order to have the premises fully legislative compliant.

We carry out the following electrical tests:

• External earth fault loop impedance Ze
• Earth fault loop impedance Zs
• Continuity of protective conductors
• Main earth protective conductors
• Earth electrode resistance
• Supplementary earth bonding conductors
• Continuity of ring final circuit conductors
• Correct polarity
• Insulation resistance of cable
• Prospective fault current
• Residual current device disconnection testing
• Functional test of light switches, Isolators, & breakers
